The NCS Group’s journey began in 1997 with the export of Molasses from the Kakinada Port. This marked the first step towards our forward integration strategy. In 1999, we established NCS Industries (P) Ltd., a company with a 40,000 KL capacity Class “A” Bulk Liquid Storage facility in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. This facility, equipped with 5 direct pipelines connecting to the Jetty, was a significant milestone in our growth.
Thereafter, in 2002, an Edible Oil Refining facility with a capacity of 400 Tons per day was added adjoining the Bulk Liquid Storage but in separate premises.
Then, in 2005, we set up a Class “B” Bulk Liquid Storage facility with a 20,000 KL capacity at Karwar Port in Karnataka State, which is connected to the port’s Jetty through a pipeline.
In 2013, the edible oil refinery at Kakinada received a pouch-packing plant with a capacity of 200 tons per day.
NCS Industries handled product storage, edible oil transportation through pipelines, and Edible Oil Refining. To streamline and facilitate operations, a new company named NCS Seaport Services Pvt. Ltd. was created in 2020 to take over edible oil transportation, and another company, NCS Edible Oil Refineries Pvt. Ltd., was created to take over edible oil refining operations.
